I thought i would make some additional color presets based on the nearest true color imagry from the blue marble earth collection. Note that i color sampled these as carefully as possible paying attention to elevation changes as well. The bitmaps are in 32 Bit depth color for close accuracy. Enjoy and if there is anymore additional colors anyone would like to see notify me please. Perhaps some more strata might be in order? ;)

Your Welcome!
I guess the earth's terrain seems very dark in many spots beside deserts and arctic but this is overall global for colors. What i should probably do i grab colors for closer localized terrains as well, it's just more of a unique variety would have to be created and a much larger set. I gather these local colors are more needed then anything on a global color scale. This was really more of a test to see how they would look draped over the heightfield.

A couple of tests to see how the custom color looks inside of GeoControl.

Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible." is what I get from those links and the links in my favourites :-(
