Intreasting... i use Daz Studio for basic rendering purposes... hopefully this means that application goes places... i like it and it has potential to become more professional but hopefully remain free as well..........

I had expected it the other way round.

After reading all the posts and statements I am most curious about Hex.
DAZ does defnintly not own it.
For me it looks like Eovia Europe will try to go their own way and part from Eovia.

Hex will be owned by DAZ. Eovia Europe and Amapi will not.

No, that's what I'm saying. DAZ has acquired the rights to the Hex code through Hex 2.1. After that, the Eovia Europe team will not be working on Hex anymore or be affiliated with DAZ.

And that is exact the bad new. Hex was really succesful and good.

I agree. I also think their timing was extremely bad. If they had waited a couple of weeks, Hex 2 would probably be out and GeoControl could have taken more of a spotlight when first released. There would have been less angst over the whole thing.

For GeoControl that must not be bad. Okay, it is at time for carrara users not so visible. But GeoControl is for Carrara as well as for Bryce.
And the connection so might increase my sells.

True, I hadn't thought of that. I used to be a Brycer, but honestly, I couldn't stand to use it now.
