I think it would be really useful if you could have some way of showing the height(s) of an isoline- the best place would be next to the line in the map view. This could be toggled on/off or a setting to have them show. With lines that have two heights it could still be done. Either have a "x-y", or a height at each end of the line.
This would be especially useful for working with contours but I think it would be useful for all isolines.
