Gallery for GeoConrtrol users?

I was wondering if it might be possible to add a gallery section to this forum?
I know that people can post images in the Exchange forums, but it would probably encourage more users to show their work if there was a gallery set aside for that purpose.

You can post images in every section, but what about simply adding a gallery categorie?
I think, that is a good idea.

And it is done. I have made the Gallery open for all users.

I have been meaning to post some of my work as well, if i can just get Vue's materials to work for me. Then there is Terragen 2, to hard to set up shaders. :(

Shading in Vue is really not so easy. I have found, that the environment functions are really bad to adjust. So for me I mostly create fast a mask with GC, even simply heightmasks, and then use them in Vue.
The greatest weak point in Vue is the missing fractal function for the distribution like it has terragen 1. I still have not found a way, to simulate it.

I noticed in the Announcement, that it sounds like it is only for work produced with GeoControl 2?

All images posted here must be done with terrains which were created with GeoControl 2

The work I was going to submit was done with GeoControl 1.
Is work done with GeoControl 1 still valid to submit?
I'd love to reproduce this with a terrain from GeoControl 2, but can't since I don't have it yet.

Yes, it looks like i have to play with height masks as well but for the shear complexity involved. This seems like to much work in Vue. I suppose i will have to keep it very simple and just stick with desert waist lands with very little colorizations.
