Hi Johannes,

Herewith some new testing results (on same PC configuration as previous testing) :

- changing filter : level settings of previous used filter maintained (maybe on purpose?)
- height sliders : sometimes disappear (only numeric value max.1000 can be typed in)

- under filter settings : "selection" : one time more than ten "selection 0" 's were shown, although I had made only 1 "selection 0" in "selectors" tab.

- on 2048-terrain : project preset chosen : gc2 got stuck, had to be closed down.
- opening of a saved projectsettings : same problem (close down)
- button "clear project" pressed : same problem.
- saved project opened : isoline values were changed , e.g. from substract to absolute.

So far this week's testing results.

Kind regards.

This takes into account, that filter changings are mostly between equal filters. For getting a clean filter, simply use remove and add.

What height sliders exact? Could not reproduce it here.

Yes, can reproduce it. Will fix that.

Thanks for that testing!

Johannes,

I think that the height sliders that I mean are those that form the selection, but I will check it again and note it down more clearly next time.

As for the fact that GeoControl 2 sometimes crashes, maybe that has something to do with Windows Vista (Home Premium). I had the same problem with another (older) application, which I installed.

The crashes you reported were caused by the isoline tool. In the old presets there are no isolines, but GC does expect them. That is a bug and has nothing to do with Vista and is fixed for the next build.

But the slider problem may be caused by Vista.
Well, I am definitly planning to replace all sliders with a graphic element, like the level control. The sliders of Windows really work bad.

Johannes,

I found that the height sliders that sometimes fail are those of the isolines, and not of the selection.
I will try to include some printscreen jpegs next time to better visualize the problem.

Is fixed for next build. You loose the slider, when you change the height or wide settings for the terrain in the terrain general panel.
