Today I bought the full version of GeoControl. Initially the Shareit page came up in Pounds Sterling and the price was 36 pounds which included VAT for UK. Fair enough but I knew that in the UK we might also have the option of paying by Euro so I changed currency to Euro and the price remained 49 Euro. So I looked a bit closer and saw that the 49 is including tax in Germany. I don't mind, the German tax rate is lower than the UK tax rate so if I pay in Germany not UK that's fine by me :wink: . But just wondered if it was correct that had I gone ahead and bought in Sterling I would have ended up paying VAT in both countries? Particularly on electronic transfer software as I don't pay tax for things I buy in the US at all if they arrive by download.
