Snow Textures

Drawing some iso-lines and using textures playing with the noise and alpha blends to the color gradient i got what appears to be almost snow over the terrain.

looks really good. Most interesting, that the snow on top of the mesas appears only in the middle. Very interesting effect.

Yes. It is like the snow had melted slowly away and dropped off of the edges of the steep slopes.
