I've had artifacts when drawing isolines that intersect the top edge. I've had these on three occasions when drawing isos that intersect the top edge- I've not seen them appear when isos intersect the bottom edge for instance. The dots almost seem to spray in line from top to bottom of the 2D view. They are not visible at certain zoom levels. They don't appear immeditatly on drawing the isos but on some subsequent activity- zooming, changing layer, etc.

Did this influence the generation, or only the 2D view?

As far as I know, they only occur in the view. It looks like the pen has not been turned off. If I then zoom or otherwise move the mouse quickly- that could explain this. The dots remind me of sampling with a quick mouse action-

I will have a look, but may be not the next build.
I am at time mostly working on the last core features:
Rivers, Lakes, roads

If that is done, I have to open the project panel again and working on the tile problem.

After that, GUI improvements, some needed filters (a graphical height correction), displacements for selections, still a thermal erosion is missing

The preview will also be a lot of work.

So may be, some other needed improvements will follow in updates after release. Like the improved tools for isolines.

By the way: Sensful feature request - loading the protected terrain always from the original file, so that you have not always to import it again. I will implement this. This makes it possible, to play with different start levels for GC, or in combination with layers, to work with different start levels in one terrain.
