I don't really think these qualify as feature requests, I don't understand programming at all so I've no idea if my comments are useful or not, these are just things that occur to me as I am working and think I might as well mention anyway.
I love the new spring tool. It's nicely intuitive in general and quite easy to get quick good results wtih it.
Is it possible to erase springs one by one once they've been placed? It would be useful to do that rather than erasing them all with the 'clear' button. I tried moving a point but it caused me to draw a line of springs instead.
I'm unclear what the 'precision' setting is altering or what 'lake reduction' actually means, maybe partly my lack of geomorphological terminology but I don't know what a 'breakthrough' is in calculating them.
Once in Bryce it would be useful to have a way of specifying different material for lake as opposed to spring (flatter, less bump and turbulence). There are ways round it by doing double renders to combine in postwork so not essential but I haven't yet experimented with masks and selections in GeoControl so maybe I'll find something there to help.
On a general GUI note, I have a preference for numerical entry as well as sliders. Anyone who operates in the DTE in Bryce soon discovers the risk of repetative strain injury from using slider controls repeatedly so when it's possible it's good to be able to just type in numbers.
I've put a picture in the gallery section of where I'm up to so far. Got a lot to learn yet I know!
Cheers
Kathy
