I don't know if this is a bug or is an intentional choose; however:
1) Click on Isolines tab under Terrain tab
2) Create an isoline
3) Click on Generate
4) Click on Render
5) Click on Clear Layer button into Isolines section (GC2 swap to 2D)
6) Click again on Generate (GC2 returns to 3D)

Instead, this would be a bug:
1) Click on Isolines tab under Terrain tab
2) Drag all slider Strength level to maximum
3) Click on Clear Layer button
Last slider (Level 8192) remains set at maximum.
The 8192 will be deleted, which will fix that.

Why?
Very simple:
Great terrain will be no problem, using tiles. You will also be able to export a square of tiles as one terrain.
But Windows has to much problems managing the memory with 32 bit. It is not possible to get that stable with 8192 terrains, they need more than 1GB ram, and then Windows produces memory allocation errors.

Ok Johannes.
I need to wait until new features are ready.
Thanks a lot.
