I was just curious, we all talk about making ever larger terrains. But I wondered. Is there anyone out there who's tried using GeoControl for small terrains? Like very small area's of a landscape? It would seem, in theory at least, that many of the tools could be used in such a way as to create some interesting smaller terrains.
Was just wondering. :)
Yes, I think Seven D used GC to create a seamless mud texture map for a Project.(?) That stuck in my mind as a good use for it.

*thinks for a moment* damn I never thought of that before, even when I made this thread, I was thinking small landscape scenes, the thought of the used as a texture generator of sorts just didn't occur to me.. I hope he see's this thread then and could maybe post something about that. That's a really neat idea!

Well, I would not say a "textur generator", there are others, that do that better (map zone for example).
But for creating the texture for terrains, to export it and use it in an game engine.
