New feature: Import of selections
This now opens a new wide door for manipulations and professional work.
The imported selections are "static", that means, GeoControl always takes the original import for the masking. Of course also this selections can be combined with the height, slope .... parameters.
This is nethertheless a typical GC2 feature. So, you can use a static selection in all! levels. GC2 resizes the original import to the actual level. To be true, this is a dynamic static selection typ.
You can import jpg,bmp and png, colour or greyscale or 8 bit. If the image is not in a squared size, or has not the correct dimensions, it is first resized.
To get a good template for creating a static selection, you can now export the actual 2dview, including the grid, isolines and so on, if they are actual visible.
Selector panel:
Import button
The button opens the typical image import dialog.
R button
If a imported selection is actual selected in the list, you can refresh it here with.
N button
To change the used image for the selectionThe paths are stored with the terrain settings. So, if you want to share a file with a imported selection, you have also to share the image.
Bug fixes:
Grid was bad displayed
Crash, when the road tool was used in a lower level and the selection was used
When terrain settings were loaded, the pw filter groups were not cleared before, if it is a lower level, than the terrain size, which crashes GC.
The nasty search for the basic "full_landscape.bmp", when a terrain setting was shared with different basic paths, is solved. GC2 does this now automatically. You should avoid to name a gradient with the same name as those in the "Colour" folder.
Have fun
