Ran into a wierd problem the other nite.

It seems if you have the height correction filter/shaper/whateverItsCalled as a part of your terrain and you use a brush to tweak things -- the brush just leaves a square blank spot with elevation 0.

Removing the height correction solves the problem. but then I have to remember what values I had for the height correction.

the update for GeoControl will be on the way today. Then it will work better with the height correction.
In general, push generate, and all those squares disappear.

This wasnt a square line artifact that i was getting..
ALL the terrain inside the brush area was set to elevation 0.

I'll download the update and see if this is fixed.

Hello, I've just had a problem which sounds familiar. (version 1.01)
I imported a TG from Leveller. I set the protection and then the filter. Go back to Terrain tab and the Brush is leaving squares of 0 height. The protection slider is actually moving up an down on its own as I'm painting!! and the brush is getting smaller and smaller until it goes to 0 size. The brush size indicator is not changing however. I've restarted GC a few times and its still the same.

The behaviour isthe same even if you don't go into the Terrain SHape tab as well.

Cheers,

OK- I've worked out what's causing this. I imported a 4K terrain, rather that a 4096 terrain.
