the URL method seemed to be the most "direct" means of showng the picture, Cajomi would you prefer I re-linked as an attachment?

The url method is not bad, mostly good for my server, but you do not get then a preview in the thread themes. This is generated from the first attachment.
So it is your decision, I think, you will get more views for that image, if it is also shown as preview.
