Another composition. 2 terrains created in GC and 1 base terrain by raffyraffy.
A lot of EcoSystem in Vue.
The lighting looks better at full size.

Really great scene, but I am missing some haze to get a deeper impression of distance.
May be the light more as opposite light for a bit more dramatic.

This is very nice, but I have to agree with cajomi about the haze. I love the terrain. It's awesome.
I was just wondering if you are willing to share this terrain with me? In terragen format? :)

This has the makings of a great scene - the terrain side is excellent. But maybe a spectral atmosphere with haze, and also a different sunlight angle to create some light\dark contrasts would give added depth.

Here my second edition of the rendering of the terrain with Vue 6.
I change atmosphere, haze, light.
I think it's better.
Thank you for your comments and suggestions.

Looks much better - more depth, and the background lighting is good. Maybe try lowering the ambient light, as the foreground trees and terrain are a bit overexposed and the colours are a bit too saturated.
Also try Global Illumation lighting to get good shadows beneath the foreground trees (more like in your original). Global Ambience lighting (if that's what you've used) tends to flatten out the image.
The composition is great and leads the eye right into the image.
Good work.

Definitly improved. The opposite light sculpts the whole scenery and add a very nice dramatical touch.
Can also agree caftycurates recommendations.

Very nice! The latest version is the best one so far. The landscape reminds me of wild windswept moorland of Britain- kinda 'Wuthering Heights' feel to it.

Hey blueman.
Nice creations.
I'd like to make same but I'm very new where can I learn how to make these different layers.
Right now all i can do is adding textures to a mountain :S
