Bad news for all Mac users.
I am sorry for must telling this, but the development of the mac version is paused.
The new intel processors are not supported with my actual compiler, so I am not able to compile it and get it run on the new macs.
As fas, as I expect, that the new intel macs will soon be common, and I own a intel mac, I must wait for the software developers of my compiler, to get it fit to the acutal and older macs.

For the window users this are good news.
I will now start the developement of the version 1.02, a free update!

I want to ensure the mac community, that as soon as possible, the mac developement will start. I will keep in this update an eye on the mac compatibility, and change some code, which can not run on a mac, to speed up the mac transfer.

Noooo!

But that's ok when the 1.02 update is coming earlier instead ;)

Yet another question:
What about users that have an old mac too?
Will there be a version for both macs or just for the new intel processors?

Let me say it this way:
It is planned for both. This new Intel-Mac does not only brings problems to me, as I have read, but this double hardware is really a pain.
It is just like turning mac upsied down: The best was the straight hardware, but now it turns into the opposite.

That sounds really bad.
I wish you the best for solving this problem.

Anyway I'm looking forward for the earlier release of 1.02 :D

Any update on this? I realize it was just posted 4 weeks ago, but I'm just checking in.

I suppose when I make the move to an Intel Mac, I could just run this under Windows via BootCamp, but, the less time I spend there the better. ;)

Keep us posted, I'm pretty anxious to pick up your cool application-

thx,
craig

I too will become a willing customer as soon as GeoControl 2 is released for the Intel Macs.... (although admittedly it could be run via Bootcamp)

All the best, and thank you for keeping us informed.

The last try to convince the developer of the compiler was a fail.
So at time I can only say, that it will take a longer time.

But as far as I have read all over in the www, even with bootcamp, the macs are faster than the pc. I have read somewhere, that a win/pc user bought a mac, because it was cheaper and faster (in bootcamp windows) than a pc.
