Vue6 out of control

Vue6 crashing randomly even when it's not active, caused by proengine.eon .

I have no clue what this means since it's totally random and unconditional failing.


Someone having similiar probs?

I have heard of a similiar problem with another software (Beta version).
So far, I have not have this problem with Vue, but that my only be, because it seldom runs longer here.

It's mind boggling. I want to work with Vue6 and instead it crashes when i do the least, when I'm very active tho ( clicking stuff ) then it will crash less.

My PC runs everything fine just Vue6 behaves like crap because of the proengine.dll crash... i don't find support for that problem AT ALL on their page.

Oh and compatibility mode won't help.

It crashes happily all along...

UPDATE:

The basic version works!

Just the newer updates ending with 35 and 32 produce these incredible crashings.

I wonder why this is :-(

Ups, I have just seen, that I have no the actual build.
Looks like it is an advantage, not to catch at once the newest updates.

But I can understand that. It is often so, that you "fix" a bug, and create by the way two new ones.

General advice for ANY program:

install an update IF and ONLY IF...

a) it fixes one or more bugs YOU are PERSONALLY experiencing and that ruin your workflow or...

b) if it is mandatory for interoperation (e.g. to use addons you need).

In ANY other case, resist the urge to upgrade.
