Vollständige Version anzeigen : Greetings from the Canyons!
Couldn't decide which colorset i wanted to us, but usual canyons often have a very red depth in them.
Must admit i used a relatively boring set of filters for the Canyons.
But tell me what you think of the look :-) :p

nevermind! I just modified them to a little darker so it's not all that shiny...
edit:
wanted to have the brighter versions up anyway,
you should look at them, they have a different feeling.
Speaking of photorealism, it looks almost like an old photofilm-camera reaction in the background.
I think the tree is much to large and adds a "wrong" scale and I am missing "shadows" the form the details of the surface.

Well it wasn't suppsoed to be big.
I wanted it globally illuminated. Tons of puffy clouds would shatter the shadows.
May be you try a hdri for the illumination.
If the scale is correct the strata is not so good. We would call that in german a "Graben". Stratas show only up in large scales.

Infact the illumination is taken from a HDRI. I then saved that and converted the whole thing to a Spectral.
