Happy eastern!
This is a typical "improvements" and bug fixes update.
First I have to add for Build 28: all selections were changed from 8bit to 16bit quality.
General improvement - not visible:
I have started to code a translation tool with a new structure for the language files. The new structure is implemented for the filter names, filtercontrol names and selection names. This tool will make translations for the GUI much more comfortable and easyer and I hope, that in future the GUI will be available in many languages, for example francese or chinese (after the USA the most visitors of the GeoControl pages are from china, followed by germany and france!).
All filter names are now always the same, also the selectors names, no matter how old the preset is, that is loaded. This was really getting a problem in the last builds. Depending on the presets, the name of the filters or selections did change for the same filtertyp.
GUI improvement:
All selection controls are now changed to a colored text field. If you click into the field, left beside the panel a window pops up, with all available selections.
The color of the text field shows at once, whether a selection is used or not.
This applies also to the shader, but there the coloring is more decent.
Changing a filter now works properly. The numbering is no more confusing, so now permanently increasing numbers if you switch between two filters. If you change a erosion type and the flowmap was used for shading or anywhere as selection, the new filter takes the place of the old and also the selections are automatically changed to the new erosion type. So there is no more increasing of selections, when you change a filter. This also works if you change for example from vector to river and lakes.
Filterpresets:
Completed the presets for the erosion filters (not the invers one) and also added some typical presets for GeoControl2.
Bug fixes:
Fixed some nasty behavior with the filtercurve if it was used for a selection.
Change filter could lead to a mismatch of filters.
The new last two pwfilter controls did not actualize.
A new filtercurve was not accepted the first try in some situations.
Soft fluvial wide was linked to wrong erosion.
If river and lakes was first filter in the postwork section, previous and next level switches could cause distorted terrains.
Improved:
Height adjustments in the "general" terrain panel: If height is changed, now all! values which are affected by a height change are autoadjusted new, according to the relative change of the height.
Changing a filter now also removes the selections or change them.
Numbering of filters or selections now looks for "free" numbers and uses this ones.
Adjustment of noise for old filters did not always work correct.
The colors of the level controls and the filter controls change now, if a filter is disabled.
This build will be the base for the demo of the pre-release of GeoControl2.
Please report all bugs with the error message, so that the demo will be mostly stable.
