Two days ago i downloaded the demo of GeoControl used it for one day then yesterday when i went to use it i got a message saying that this demo is more than 30 days old and is now disabled and yet it shows that i still had 29 days left i sent the website an email but i'm hoping sombody here can help me thanks.

can you post a screenshot of the message, that the time is out?
And what were you doing, when it happend?
I will fix it as soon as possible, so that on monday there will be a fixed version up.

my computer is not online i'm using my roomates computer so as soon as i can i'll post a screen shot here and in the terragen fourm at renderosity.com you can look for me under the same screen name thanks but i can tell you is that all i did was click the icon to run the program then i get the splash screen then the message pop's up.

This normally only should happen, if the system clock date has been changed manually.
This would be fixed, by just setting the system time to the true time.
I will see, what else may cause this message.

ok i'm ging to try to post a screen shot. i had to crop the image in order to upload it. this came right after the splash screen goes away.

well, this is the message which appears, when GeoControl have found, that the time of the clock was changed.
The demo is a timelimited version, and so there is a need for time checking, else everyone could use it as long as he wants, by simply changing the clock date.
Setting the clock to the correct date should solve the problem. If not, restart the pc, with the correct date, and then it should work.

well i did have the right date and time so i did not need to change that so i went ahead and re-booted and now it is working.

May be, that you pc is permanently running, then the clock date and the intern system date do run out of sychronisation, and so GeoControl assumes, that the clock has been changed.
