Will GC2 Upgrade install on machine without GC1 present?

I imagine everyone is busy with the new release and all. I was in the process of moving GC version 1.13 (I am registered owner of it) to a new machine and was having some problems, so I emailed Johannes about my concerns. The very same day I visited this site to discover GC2 is now available.

Does anyone know if I can download GC2 upgrade and install it on a machine without GC1 already being installed and working on that same machine?

Put another way, is it a full working version that is being offered at a reduced price to registered owners or is it a plug-in type upgrade that requires GC1 to be present before it will install?

Thanks for any help on this. I want GC2 badly.

Is is excact waths as say: The amount of 25€ to all user, which buy GeoControl before 1.12.2007.
You would able to use GC1 and GC2 on the same machine.

I have GC1 on old pc. It was installed on June 2006 according to files on that pc.

I became so frustrated I tried to order the upgrade anyhow, but your site will not recognize me and my email address. I have received newsletter emails from this site in the past. I received the original validation code via email but now I am a lost individual and can't get upgrade.

With more frustration, I re-registered and ordered full version at full price because I am tired of the game and just wanted to get the new application. I wonder how many others have been lost in the system and have to pay full price.
