GeoControl2 testing

I'd like this new software that I'm joying. I'm a simple user not a professional one.

I use only free 3D softwares as it is only a passion and I see that the demo is valid only for a month. What a shame!

This sw, IMHO, needs more improvements in GUI and also in "marketing" issues. I think that GC2 deserves more and more, expecially for its probable "future".

In conclusion, I hope to see a special edition (more cheaper for non professionals, for students or others) as I think the success of a product depends also upon a larger user experience!

a special edition are only for students with studies certificate.

I work hard for create this programm and I make my living with GC2.

A special edition for students could be pretty cool (wouldn't benefit me, mind) with cut down features, since students don't need to have everything like that.

Wasn't something like this mentioned some time ago? A demo version, a student version, a standard version and then a power user version. Something like that could be a real boost. For example, most users don't need to really create huge super detailed terrains, they might think they do, but we don't. But then there are users out there who really do need that extra power. Different versions for different prices, with the top end version having everything.

By power user, I'm talking high end games company or the scientific community, not a regular games type person like me. The type of user who probably has a huge farm of CPU's at their disposal, where they can throw way more resources at it.

Not to mention the scientific communities would probably be happy to pay a fortune for a very advanced terrain system. Would at the very least buy you a new house or three, lol.
