Hi Johannes,
I came across Geocontrol last week thanks to a post in another forum. I'm just getting into 3D art having played with the Vue 6 PLE earlier this year. Now that Vue 7 is out I'm putting more time into it, but I hadn't really had much satisfaction with the terrain generator in Vue.
When I first started up Geocontrol 2 it made no sense whatsoever, but then I watched your excellent Isolines tutorials and it clicked into place. 5 minutes later I was the proud father of a bouncing baby cratered volcano. Awesome stuff.
I'm on a tight budget and picking up two Vue 7 modules already means it'll be the new year before I can get anything else. I was planning on getting Vue's import module, but from what I've seen so far Geocontrol 2 is looking like a very tempting purchase instead.
Thanks for the great program and making the beta available in such feature-rich demo form. I'm really looking forward to working with it and seeing how it grows.
Cheers,
Jonathan.
