Hi Johannes,
I just downloaded the upgrade version, and installed it AFTER I uninstalled the previous 40 build.
On the splash screen still says it is build 40.
But more important, the Project tab it is still showing the message:
"The project panel is disabled in the pre-release. It will be enabled on the final release!"
Maybe I re downloaded the build 40 again? Or maybe i downloaded it before you updated the .exe file?

I concur with dballesg. The upgrade version displays "Build 40" upon initialization and the project panel is inaccessible.

You will download it again and make sure, that you have right build 41, not build 40.

Make that three of us. The update version says, "This setup will install GeoControl2 V2.00.40 on your system."
Must be pointing to the old 4.0 download.

Hi Johannes,
Downloaded and installed three times, the link for the upgrade file is wrong, you end with the build 40 and Project Panel is disabled. I compared it to the link on the forums for the build 40, and it is the same one.
I do not understand why you have two different downloads for the same product.
I think you need to have only one download for everyone. It will make your life and ours easier.

Sorry, I have found the bug and repair it.
Now things work correct.

I just downloaded and installed the upgrade version without any problems, so it looks like everything is now set up right for the downloads.
Thanks,

Amazing new Features! I love it so far. Can we get a Tutorial on the Project / Layer Tool?
Anyway the possibilites with the new Features are far beyond anything that can be imagined. Well done Cajomi!

Hi,
Yep the update now works fine.
Thanks Johannes.
David
I lost my key as I recently had to reinstal my windows, not because of formatting but because the key is in my previous documents&settings folder that is completly blocked and I can't even take it over by security tab that is also blocked. :(

I downloaded and went to try out Geo Control 2 Build 39 but I keep getting this response. I have a licensed and installed version of the basic GeroControl.
"The license name or registration key was wrong. Please try again!" Has the beta trial period expired? A shame because I just got, at extreme cost, Vue 7 Xstream to populate my landscape with trees and shrubs.
I would suggest that a sub heading in the forum be created to cover the integration with GeoControl and such programs as Vue. At the Vue forums GeoControl is often talked about. Just a thought.

In response to your suggestion "I would suggest that a sub heading in the forum be created to cover the integration with GeoControl and such programs as Vue. At the Vue forums GeoControl is often talked about. Just a thought" there is a tutorial on the how to page that I wrote and Cajomi checked for accuracy on integrating with Vue. The direct link to the tutorial is:

Some time ago I purchased Geocontrol2 Version 38
How can I update to version 41?
No mails have been forthcoming to resolve my problem.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi,
Any heads up on the next build?
Johannes acknowledged the problems with the Projects Panel and some other things.
And this build it is 4 months old this saturday :(
But this is quieter than a ghost town! :(
David
I will take it in one or two weeks, with the next build.
Johannes
I am very excited to see the next build :)
Great stuff

I've been away for a few weeks here, busy, real busy, with beta testing a couple of few other great programs that I also love dearly :)
So, I'm here, because I'm hoping to get nice and caught up, or as caught up as possible? :)
Have I missed anything of late?
Is there a new build out or anything like that?
My current version is............. it looks like, 41.
Is this correct?
Cuz no About popup window shows up, so I can't for sure say so one way or the other, I can only go by what I read at the top of that menu bar near the title bar, which isn't exactly something I would normally look for to find out if I'm using a most current version of a piece of software?
So, I think, personally, I would change that aspect just to help clarify things and go ahead and add in that typical popup About window we areall very familiar to seeing, right? ;)
Thanx.......................md :)

Hi to all,
I work hard on the improvement - but the next build will not have all the features and wishes from you. It is finished at the weekend for downloading. :D

HI,
I understand that you cannot implement everything in one day! :D Or then you will be releasing GeoControl 3 this weekend
But fixing the projects panel as you said before will be quite good! :)
Looking forward to the weekend then! :)
