I bought a license for the original version, and found it a very useful tool, although I must admit I hardly maximized my expertise. I created some terrains for use in Bryce and Vue scenes, and marvelled at what others were achieving, but left it at that.
As a result of my respect for the power of GC, however, I pre-ordered the upgrade to GC2 last year, soon after it was made available.
However, then circumstances and direction in my life changed for a while, and I never actually installed any of the beta versions of GC2.
So now, I am back, and wondering which option I should download and install? I am unclear whether the 'upgrade' link assumes the presence of a previous build of the GC2 software, and I should therefore install the 'full version; or if I should download the 'upgrade' version, and install it, when the only version on my PC at present is the registered license of GC1?
Johannes, which should I install? (Also, should I grab the Build 41 link from elsewhere in the forum?)
