Hi, I have a couple of questions about GC2 functionality.

1. Can GC2 do realistic craters. I have a lot of lunar type image to do and I really need something to do real looking craters with rim erosion, ejecta and rays.

2. Can GC2 account for building and objects in a scene and erode around them?

3. What is the "erosion resolution" of GC2? And it be used to simulate something like sand filling a basement. I other words, will CG2 operate realistically on a piece of terrain that is 10m x 10m in size?

Hi,

1. Yes, GC2 can do realistic craters, it is dependend from you and your ability.
2. Yes, it is possible. Look in the tutorials and forum.
3. Yes, 10m x 10m it's also possible.

I've looked through the forums and can't seem to find any examples of craters. Do you know of any?

How would you go about making them? Would it be a labor intensive process? (The reason I ask is because I will be needing to make thousands.)

I was hoping there might be some sort of filter or script to make them.

In one terrain you can make 10-20 crater. You can make terrains as much as you like. But is a lot of work and I think, that you can not realise it. Absolutely to much work!!!
