I'm new to GC2.
I've been playing around, not really trying to do anything specific yet. However, one thing I do know is that I will want to save/open files at a later date.
It seems to work at first. However, I am running into all kinds of problems. When I open a saved file, and modify the isolines, they do not update the terrain when generated. When I save the file, and reopen it, it crashes half of the time. When I delete the offending terrain, save, open, it crashes when I try to go to the generate panel. Basically, I can't modify any of the existing terrains. When I save via the project menu, I get the same results. Seems to happen most often when I have three layers going forward.
I am trying to make multiple terrains as part of a project (leading towards a specific goal), and this seems to be causing the most issues. I am saving the projectsettings, and getting this result. This does not seem to happen every time, but about 75% of the time.
Is this normal? Am I doing something horrifically wrong by trying to save?
I'm using an i7 workstation, on X64. I bought via cornucopia, and installed the software two days ago...
Kris.
