OK, I had to recently (uhg) rebuild my C drive and have been reinstalling all my programs.
Ok, so far, mostly things are going sort of ok-ish, which is about normal LOL
Problem is, I'm finding that not all of my programs have I remembered to write them in my DOC file the serials and ID/PW's and such things, and now I can't tell what's up with this program, as the project screen is blank when I start the program.
Is this the way it always was?
I think I am all good and serial numbered all back up and running and like that, so I don't think any of that is the program with GC2.

So, am I using the most recent build and is the project page sposed to be blank when you first start up the program and am I not sposed to see something like a "Load Project" option/menu or something somewhere?

I'm using Build 42
Windows 7 7600

Oh, and while I'm here and back again hehe, are we going to be getting a modern way to view the terrains, i.e. be able to rotate the view around somehow like real time or at least close to it to where maybe wireframe or something and then it could render itself out once you let go of the mouse button?

OK, thanx all..................................md :)

The projection tab is really for projections settings, the will comes (but not the next build).
All is now in the "generation" tab.

Say, are we all able to get like, some sort of a news letter type email or anything to let everyone know that things ARE in fact happening, or is it that you basically are done with this program and now working on other things and only mess with this program when and if you have the time?

It would sure be cool to get this kind of email once in a while just to make people feel like things are advancing and like that, that is if they are of course? LOL

thanx............................md :)

Hehehe, thanx, but shouldn't you really be working "8 DAYS a Week" to get this done? LOL

OK, lame, but at least now I have that good tune running through my head ;)

And thanx too for your awesome work and more to the point, that you seem to be still interested in working on this fantastic tool, best terrain creation tool evr made, IMHO.

thanx!.................................md :)

P.S. Forogt to bring it up... again.
But, what was your thoughts on the rest of what I suggested?
The parts about a sometimes news letter, just to let people know things are moving along still or something like that or even just to brag about how your program has been used by others?
I am sure most people who really have made anything with it would be more then happy to show something.
I want to, I just haven't had the chance yet to make a decent enough scene that would be worthy to show amoungst all those other really great looking renderings you already have :)

I'd prefer some kind of development blog.
It's pretty exciting to follow development blogs and to see how such projects evolve.

I could go with that just as well, I think?
I assume blogs are basically the same thing as a forum, or what?
I've never understood what the differences were, if any, other then the name?
They both work in real time, though I spose a blog maybe works more like an IM and instantly replies show up as soon as either side is hitting their enter key, right?

Which ever I feel all of us here should vote on, we really do need some sort of a way to all actively be more involved with this programs development, at least in my mind...... even if Johannes doesn't like it hehehehehe just kidding ;)

BTW, Johannes, I would at ANY time be willing to do any beta testing for this thing, if you ever wanted any? hint hint ;)

I think Johannes, just doesn't truly know what a killer app he invented using this style of methods for creating terrains with?
Cuz this way really, come on, let's face it, it IS kinda strange from what people normally expect tosee in an interface, but yet I learned it reletively quickly by merely following his great little tutorials. (thanx BTW for those, great stuff)
