I'm not sure if I'm stupid, but how do you create water in GeoControl? I've played around with it all day, but I couldn't figure it out. Btw, I really like this program:)
A quick answer would be much appreciated:)

GeoControl does not create water. It is not meant as render software, so the water is created in the application, where the terrains are rendered.
But GeoControl can convert a terrain, which was eroded before, into a "waterterrain". In this terrain, the flows stay, while all other parts of the terrain are lowered. This terrain then can be used in the rendersoftware, if it is capable to render more than one terrain, to be shaded as water. For more see the help of GeoControl.

Thanks Cajomi:)
I didn't quite understand what you meant with the "flow stays". Does that mean that you can have a river that runs from the mountain or something, without having it to be the lowest point?
Oh, by the way.. Is it possible to move the zoom sideways? I can only zoom on the middle of the map. I really want to make detailed areas around the map, but I can't seem to get it work.

Thanks again for your help:)

well, the best is, you try the flowterrain, to see, what it is. It is sometimes more difficult to describe something, than to look at it.
So use the erosion system Fluvial Soft, with a wide of 4, starting point 7, and then convert the terrain into a flowterrain. You will see, that the parts, where are flows, in the flowterrain are now higher than the terrain, they look like ridges, while the other parts are lowered.

To move the 2D-view, simply use the right mouse buttom.
