hi,

I wonder AGAIN what are the plans for GC. It's dead or in limbo?

I'm forced (because it's the only terrain tool that does roads easily and decently) to use it right now to do a heightmap for a City Engine project I'm doing. Use the Vector Tool to create the roads on the heightmap it is worthy that is true.

It's frustrating that GC decides by black magic or planet alignment to regenerate everything you simply change for example from the Post to the General tab. And it's something I can't reproduce every time. As I said it does by magic

So I wonder if Johannes has any plans to keep developing GC or I need to start looking elsewhere seriously for a tool that does decent roads on heightmaps.

Hi David,

Which OS are you using?
I'm running build 50 on an XP machine and am not seeing any spurious regeneration problems here.
I haven't had a chance to install it on my Windows7 machine yet, so I can't vouch for that.
