Default Isolines Crash at 2048 and 4096

Build 47

Open GeoControl

Change size to 2048 or 4096

Click on the isolines tab and then answer yes to starting with a empty terrain.

Paint on isolines.

No Lines show and then then MS encountered a problem box is displayed.

When i select less then 1024 terrain size GeoControl also crashes when I click on Isolines..

I am using XP64 pro
CPU Amd 635 with 6 GB of ram

I'm seeing the same thing. Any change to the resolution prior to drawing an isoline is crashing the programme.
If I don't alter the resolution I can draw isolines but if I subsequently change the resolution and then go back into to draw more, I'm also getting a crash.

Regards,

Plotinus

If I change the Terrain Size to 4096 in the General Tab and the Click on the Generate Button. I can work with the Isolines with no problems.

Hope this helps

I think if you change the resolution, then hit generate and then hit isolines, it doesn't crash. But if you change the resolution but don't hit generate, trying to create isolines will cause a crash.
I've also noticed an odd graphical glitch when trying to draw isolines. As I draw them another line appears displaced from where my cursor is (probably by about one quarter of the screen). Once I hit generate these ghost-isolines disappear and they don't affect the terrain generation.

One other thing I've noticed is that if I generate an isoline terrain, the level controls will change if I move from 3d to 2d view mode.

I see extra lines that disappear when I click on the Generate button.

The level controls in 2D mode seem to jump every time you click on Generate Button. If you move the level control, it jumps when you click on the Generate Button. If you add a isoline and do not adjust the level control, it does not jump.

Thanks Plotinus
