basically it would be nice to have something like an isosurface over the voxel data to get smoother results.. any possibility of this happening ?
the other reason is that in the texture renders i get quite a lot of pixelation where i would be hoping for a more smoother blend between neighboring pixels. i am however quite new to the program so is there just a setting i am missing ? in this picture you can quite clearly see the pixelation where a smooth blending should take place. (disregard the banding however thats due to the strata gradient i was using) ![]() Last edited by planaria : 1.June2010 at 07:36. |

I don't kown, what you really mean, over "voxel data"?

voxel data would be the heightmap data, sorry for the confusion its just that the way you show the heightmap data reminds me of non smoothed height constrained voxel data.

Hey, why don't you use "Smoothing", also
Add - General forming - Smoothing Johannes |

didnt think to use smoothing in that way, i used it on the higher levels and it seems to work in one test case.. thanks for the help
