I am 44 years old, single and living in Gent, Belgium.
Hobbies : sports (in particular watching I admit), general interest in culture, art, travel, etc. , and of course photography and 3d.

I am a free-lance professional photographer.
It all started as a hobby more than 20 years ago. After some photo contest wins, I decided to become a professional photographer. So for about ten years now I work professionally.

From the beginning I worked digitally as much as possible (first with a SLR-camera (film) and scanner). Since two years I photograph with Canon EOS (digital).
I prefer landscape photography, model and macro photography, but for the living I work mostly for tourism.
More and more I take interest in 3d, whereby I challenge myself to create images as photo-realistic as possible.

For my 3d work I started with Bryce(2), then 2 or 3 years ago I jumped to terragen, but then again I wanted to see if Bryce could be used for photo-realistic 3d-landscaping.
It's up to the viewers to judge if I succeed or not.
What I like most in Bryce are the flexible terrain positioning and the material editor. To obtain good results, however, fine tuning remains a must.
